These heavenly soap bars have been carefully handmade in small batches and packaged in Bristol, UK, using natural ingredients and ethical recipes inspired by and rooted in nature. Each soap bar has been created with unique blends of butters and oils with natural exfoliants, clays and essential oils.
All ingredients are sustainably sourced and plant-based, and will never contain any synthetic or chemical alternatives. Key ingredients include:
Activated Charcoal: a fine powder that is highly absorbent with a large surface area, helping to remove dirt and other impurities from the skin’s pores. It is particularly effective when used on oily skin and can help in the treatment of acne.
Castor Oil: this vegetable oil is native to Africa and Asia, and is a common ingredient in lots of soaps and shampoos because of its moisturising properties. Naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, it is also high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega fatty acids making it extra nourishing for skin and hair.
Orange Essential Oil: In addition to an irresistible aroma, orange essential oil offers many benefits for skin. The fresh scent is one of Mother Nature's most potent antidepressants in aromatherapy, and when used in soap and skincare products, it boosts circulation in the skin and promotes cell growth.
Clay: a variety of clays are used in these soaps including Kaolin Clay, coloured French Clays and Fuller’s Earth. As well as adding colour to the soap, it also serves as a natural, gentle exfoliant, while also clarifying and removing oils and impurities from your skin. Its silkiness makes shaving easier, too.
Coconut Oil: an excellent moisturiser for both the skin and the hair. Coconut oil is a cleanser ridding the skin of the bacteria and dirt, while also helping to form those big bubbles in the lather.
Olive Oil: a staple in soap making because of its ability to penetrate deep into the skin for maximum moisturisation without clogging pores. Containing polyphenols and oleic acid, olive oil is an effective anti-ager, helping to improve skin tone and texture. Because it’s so nourishing and rich in vitamins A and E, olive oil can replenish the oils lost by the skin, giving skin a smoother appearance and helping stimulate new cell growth.
Sustainable Palm Oil: effective for hydrating, moisturising, and protecting your skin. The oil protects against the temperature and dryness of the air around you to keep your skin fresh. It is full of vitamins and minerals that contain antioxidants to help to protect your skin and keep it healthy. It is also quickly absorbed by your hair and scalp which can help to restore and improve your hair quality.
